Although I've become a nail connoisseur, I still enjoy the occasional complete set of acrylic nails—some designs just last longer and look better with acrylic extensions. You may already know that acrylic nails can cause allergic reactions, but did you know that certain varieties thin your natural nails? I was intrigued to learn what makes acrylics so dangerous to our skin, and you may be as well.
